VOJ · the expedition planner

Voj

The group’s logistics engine: portal location requests, boss-night coordination, lox management and a deeply held belief that a boat can solve problems if driven hard enough.

Campaign character

Maps, portals, and momentum

  • Charted two swamps seeking Moder, planned Queen and Yagluth nights, and set proposed play windows.
  • Expanded the Plains base, trapped two lox, then reported four pet lox and invited ambitious architecture.
  • Moved portals upstairs and helped save the lox farm after the Ghjall event.
  • Organised fortress runs and the remaining Fader push.
  • Had limited gaming windows; the campaign treated every available session as a scheduling event.

“I prefer ramming the boat into the coast with a single chest on it and juggling everything around.”

Running record

The Voj canon

  • “Jesus fuck” was the standard response to large disasters, including a Deep North raid that destroyed half the portals.
  • The crew’s finish-line rhetoric became “we gotta complete Valheim before baby.”
  • The HMS Mavis was requested for the Ashlands banner because Mavis was happy with the boat.
  • The ongoing Conan score dispute included a request to add 100 deaths to Conan’s tally.
  • Fzzfzz’s spelling, the “2” bit, and bot timezone arguments all became recurring side quests.
Major consequence

The lox and the Deathsquito

A Deathsquito killed half of the Plains farm. The response was not surrender: it was stable planning, portal work and more reasons to check whether the crew was online.

Recorded field notes

The wider expedition record

  • Early combat records place Voj with a bronze atgeir and iron mace; later records show him as the group’s consistent Charred Twitcher cleaner.
  • He was a recurring voice around permissions, fixed game nights, who could make the next run, and the logistics that made a short window useful.
  • He reported the 11 October Deep North raid that destroyed half the portals. In this campaign, a logistics failure was usually the beginning of another plan.
  • The social record runs alongside the game: links, all-caps bursts, Mavis updates and the persistent case for one more Valheim session before the baby arrived.
